Wonderful stay at Maranatha Country House. The hosts were delightful and the bedrooms gorgeous. Breakfast was delicious and served in the light and pretty conservatory. A lot of love has gone into this family property (which also has an interesting history). The surrounding gardens are lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Blarney made a great post for us to adventure around the south of Ireland. We spent 5 days here bouncing from Cork to the coast and in between. It is small and quiet but charming. There is plenty to visit in the town so we did spend a whole day here as well visiting the castle and local shops.

Blarney is a wonderful little town.
Blarney is a wonderful little town. We enjoyed eating at Muskerry Arms Bar and Christy's Bar while we were there. Everything was walkable and felt very safe. We also bought a few items from Blarney Woolen Mills. This store offered the most Irish wool clothing of anywhere we saw throughout our tour of the country.
We also visited Blarney Castle and grounds. The gardens around Blarney Castle are incredible. There is so much more to see here than we expected. Our trip was in March, so we needed to wear a light winter jacket, but that also meant there were no lines for kissing the stone and touring the castle.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. However, facilities were poor with no on-site restaurant after 4pm, reception area small, food only available in the pub next door. Fine for a business trip but not for a holiday, very basic.

It is a fab hotel but there is something going on with the lift. Every time we got into the lift there was a really bad smell. It smelt like sewage . When we were leaving that morning it was really bad. Other than that l had no complaints . Very happy.

The hotel was lovely.
The hotel was lovely. I was there during a very warm spell so opened the window for air. Unfortunately since my room also overlooked the parking lot, there was noise and light pollution. This would not have been a problem though, but for the open windows.

Lots to see here in addition to the castle.
Lots to see here in addition to the castle. There was no wait line to see the stone and I still spent about two hours looking around the castle and grounds. Note there is a considerable climb up a tight, circular, old stone staircase to get to the stone! But you can see most of the castle without climbing.
The Muskerry Arms was in the middle of the village and very close to the Blarney Castle, a stroll away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and so so comfortable. Beds were georgous with beautiful white linen. The decor of the room was fabulous and they had everything we needed, a kettle, tea etc. The bathroom was georgous and everything very very clean. Food was wonderful!! Could not praise the Muskerry Arms enough, would highly recommend it.
Our only regret was we were not able to stay longer! This hotel, town and the people were absolutely amazing! We spent 9 days in Ireland and traveled around to several towns, the staff and residents of Blarney were the most friendly, interactive and helpful of all the places we visited. The food was absolutely outstanding at the Blarney Castle Hotel and the room was beautiful! We will absolutely be back-it was absolutely lovely!
We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! It was located in the heart of the city and we could easily walk to all of the locations that we wanted to visit! We wanted to visit the Blarney Castle, which was a simple 10 minute walk from our hotel. The staff was super nice and the rooms were huge! We also loved the pub that was on the premises and the breakfast was delicious as well.
The location was excellent. 5 minute drive from the Castle and Blarney Village.
Breakfast was perfect and filled us for the whole day!
Siobhan was the perfect hostess, extremely helpful with regards to places to eat in the evening and genuinely interested in us and our trip.
Will be back there again on our next trip to the area.
Book early. So the suite of 2 bedrooms came available unexpectadly, so we were lucky. Hotels in cork were 400 for 1 night for one bedroom and we got 2 with à kitchionette. The beds are comfy, it has its own door, parking and the host vicky leàves you alone. Its close to a garage wìth hot food which opens at 6am in blarnèy
Staff was very accomodating and answered all our questions. The food in the restaurant was excellent . The music was very entertaining and my girlfriend said she coukd not hear it when she went back to the room. A 5 minute walk to the Blarney Castle and Blarney Woolen Mills.
Very clean and comfortable. I was traveling alone and felt safe. Convenient to town and perfect for being the first to arrive at Blarney Castle and skip the lines. A full hot breakfast is not offered but you can bring your own food and store.
This was our favorite B&B during our 12 day trip to Ireland. Breakfast was fabulous, the bed was pillow soft, but we were blown away with the classic setting and warm hospitality. Hands down the best B&B in all of Ireland. Must stay!
Such a lovely stay in Blarney right next to Blarney castle and short travel from Cork city. Great hosts. Lovely house, easy to find. Plenty of groceries in the kitchen to compose a tasty breakfast from. Definitely recommend.
Everything what a beautiful Hotel I had the best night's sleep I had in months the shower so hot and powerful I wish every hotel was like it. I would absolutely stay here again. The breakfast was top notch ❤️
It’s just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the Blarney castle/gardens.
The hotel building itself is impressive. Beautiful lobby. Nice restaurants and shops within the same building complex.
Everything. The room, breakfast and hosts were exceptional. The location was great or those who want to visit Blarney Castle, Cork, Kinsale and Cobh. Just love it, don't miss it.
Exceptional breakfast, room amazing, great hospitality and well positioned to visit Blarney Castle, Cobh and Cork and Kinsale Head and Kinsale plus Clonakilty. On driving trip.
This property was perfect for a night stay over before heading into Dublin. The best part was the food, and the people. Not to mention the close proximity to Blarney castle.
Beautiful hotel, comfortable room, excellent shower. Restaurants had excellent food. Great location to Blarney, Cobh & Cork. Very friendly and helpful staff.
