PACIFIC 19 Kona, hotel in Kailua-Kona

Located in Kailua-Kona, a 2-minute walk from Kamakahonu Beach, PACIFIC 19 Kona provides accommodations with free bikes, private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden.

There is a small food-truck type coffee cart with outdoor seating. The coffee was good and there are breakfast food options (think egg sandwiches), but they could use some fresh pastries, like scones and muffins. The bed was comfortable, the view was a happy surprise, and it was great to come back to an air-conditioned, cool room after walking down the main road for meals. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly.

Everything about the condo was just about perfect. The bed was a little firmer than our preference, but we adjusted to it (and some people may prefer the firmness!) The kitchen allowed us to make two meals a day - saving money and eating healthier! It was quiet in our building across the road from the main building. We only saw a couple of people in the building the entire week we were there, and the only noise was from cars driving by (sometimes with loud music or revving engines.) Nice extras like two beach chairs, beach towels, and a small cooler. (Also a life-vest, though we didn't need that.) Also a water filter in the fridge was a nice touch.

The place was infested with German cockroaches, and I mean infested. There is only ac in the living room, so the 2nd bedroom was so hot! When we got there all of the towels were in the dryer so we had to fold their laundry before we could even settle. The furniture is old and dirty. The bedsheets were dirty (make up smudge on sheets and hair, so we had to wash the sheets before we could get into bed. On a positive note, the location is great, the view is amazing, and the hot water is hot.

A fantastic location to stay while visiting the island.

A fantastic location to stay while visiting the island. Very easy to get in and out of the town to the highways. Has the best tourist shops and restaurants. Multiple beautiful beaches with every water sport you would like to try. The water is safe and beautiful for snorkeling, swimming or just sitting and watching.

I enjoyed my stay at Kona

I enjoyed my stay at Kona I was upgraded to an oceanfront view, which was fabulous even though I didn’t eat at restaurants I prefer cooking my own meals. I had a very relaxed vacation. Wish I could’ve stayed longer, but I do want everyone to know that this place was fabulous.

    We loved the island.

We loved the island. The ocean, the colorful flowers, shrubs and trees. We did an amazing all day tour to the coffee farm, the volcano national park, black sand beach, lava tube, water falls and valley. We also did an absolutely stunning tour of the Mauna Kea summit to watch the sunset, star gaze and telescope close ups of the moon, Jupiter and stars clusters. Our Manta Ray tour was cancelled due to bad sea conditions, which I appreciated very much their safety concerns over profits. It’s a beautiful island with lots of sights to visit and things to do.

Huggo's On The Rocks and Foster's Kitchen were 2 of our favorite restaurants to dine at. Manta Ray Adventures night snorkel was a blast!!!! Historical harbour cruise was fun and informative. Royal Kona luau (voyagers of the pacific) was terrible. If you have a rental car, it is very easy to get around the island for a day trip.

The coffee was amazing, the food was great (although the restaurants were very crowded). Public parking was hard to come by and paid parking was very expensive. Get a rental car and you are in a good central location to hike, visit the volcano, and from all the shopping and touristy things to do.

Grandkids visited and room was still comfortable. Superb staff. we visit Hawaii frequently, family lives on Island, and this hotel was one of the best for comfort, value, location, location. The hotel has a great location, beautiful view right on the water. We upgraded for a small fee to a corner room with a balcony that had amazing views, modern, clean, comfortable room. The resort has lots of amenities, great oceanside pool, bar, convenience store all accessible, terrific staff, always helpful. We attended the Friday night Luau which was a lot of fun and good food options.

Location of the Sea Villages was centrally located, close to town and beaches. The unit #3113 had probably the best location in the resort, a few steps to the pool deck and an unobstructed view of Kailua Bay. Really enjoyed the beach equipment (boogie boards, beach chairs) that was left for renters to use. The host was very accommodating with our check-out request.

We have been staying for three weeks on Hawaii and among the places we stayed, this was clearly the best. Reasonable price, large and clean room. We stayed in the 2BR apartment and everything was provided, even small salt and pepper shaker, dishwasher and washer detergents (which was not always the case in other properties). We are more than happy to come again.

Good morning breakfast. Good size room. Pool and jacuzzi. Location was about a couple blocks from the tourist shopping area. Less than a mile (0.7mi) to the Royal Kona Hotel where they have a Luau. Best to walk there as you would have to pay for parking. A mile or two from a Target or Walmart if you needed essential items.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The lobby and reception area were clean and reflected their boutique styling. The hotel was just a short walk from restaurants and shops and the beach where we snorkeled. There is an amenity fee charged daily which seems reasonable if you use them.
